بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 255
1 verseAl-Baqarah 255
اَللّٰهُ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ اَلْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُۚ لَا تَاْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌۜ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِۜ مَنْ ذَا الَّذ۪ي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُٓ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِه۪ۜ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ اَيْد۪يهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْۚ وَلَا يُح۪يطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِه۪ٓ اِلَّا بِمَا شَٓاءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَۚ وَلَا يَؤُ۫دُهُ حِفْظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظ۪يمُ ٢٥٥

Transliteration
255Allâhü lâ ilâhe illâ hû. elḥayyü-lḳayyûm. lâ teʾḫuẕühû sinetüv velâ nevm. lehû mâ fi-ssemâvâti vemâ fi-lʾarḍ. men ẕe-lleẕî yeşfeʿu ʿindehû illâ biiẕnih. yaʿlemü mâ beyne eydîhim vemâ ḫalfehüm. velâ yüḥîṭûne bişeyʾim min ʿilmihî illâ bimâ şâʾ. vesiʿa kürsiyyühü-ssemâvâti velʾarḍ. velâ yeûdühû ḥifżuhümâ. vehüve-lʿaliyyü-lʿażîm.
English Translation
255Allah—there is no god but Him. He is the source and sustainer of life. He governs and watches over all that He has created. Neither forgetfulness nor sleep overtakes Him. All that is in the heavens and on the earth belongs to Him. Who could intercede with Him without His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them. They cannot grasp anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His authority encompasses the heavens and the earth. Preserving and watching over them is never a burden to Him. Allah is the Most High, the Most Great.
