بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 214
1 verseAl-Baqarah 214
اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَاْتِكُمْ مَثَلُ الَّذ۪ينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْۜ مَسَّتْهُمُ الْبَاْسَٓاءُ وَالضَّرَّٓاءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا حَتّٰى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا مَعَهُ مَتٰى نَصْرُ اللّٰهِۜ اَلَٓا اِنَّ نَصْرَ اللّٰهِ قَر۪يبٌ ٢١٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
214Em ḥasibtüm en tedḫulü-lcennete velemmâ yeʾtiküm meŝelü-lleẕîne ḫalev min ḳabliküm. messethümü-lbeʾsâü veḍḍarrâü vezülzilû ḥattâ yeḳûle-rrasûlü velleẕîne âmenû meʿahû metâ naṣru-llâh. elâ inne naṣra-llâhi ḳarîb.
English Translation
214Or did you think you would enter Paradise without going through what befell those before you? Such distress and hardship befell them, and they were so shaken, that even the messenger and those who believed with him cried out, "When will Allah's help come?" Know well that Allah's help is near.
