بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 166–167
2 versesAl-Baqarah 167
وَقَالَ الَّذ۪ينَ اتَّبَعُوا لَوْ اَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّاَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُ۫ا مِنَّاۜ كَذٰلِكَ يُر۪يهِمُ اللّٰهُ اَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْۜ وَمَا هُمْ بِخَارِج۪ينَ مِنَ النَّارِ۟ ١٦٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
167Veḳâle-lleẕîne-ttebeʿû lev enne lenâ kerraten feneteberrae minhüm kemâ teberraû minnâ. keẕâlike yürîhimü-llâhü aʿmâlehüm ḥaserâtin ʿaleyhim. vemâ hüm biḫâricîne mine-nnâr.
English Translation
167And those who followed will say, "If only we had another chance to return to the world, we would flee and distance ourselves from them just as they have fled and distanced themselves from us." Thus Allah will show them their deeds as regrets, and they will not come out of the Fire.
