بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 120
1 verseAl-Baqarah 120
وَلَنْ تَرْضٰى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارٰى حَتّٰى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْۜ قُلْ اِنَّ هُدَى اللّٰهِ هُوَ الْهُدٰىۜ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ اَهْوَٓاءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذ۪ي جَٓاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَص۪يرٍ ١٢٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
120Velen terḍâ ʿanke-lyehûdü vele-nneṣârâ ḥattâ tettebiʿa milletehüm. ḳul inne hüde-llâhi hüve-lhüdâ. veleini-ttebaʿte ehvâehüm baʿde-lleẕî câeke mine-lʿilmi mâ leke mine-llâhi miv veliyyiv velâ neṣîr.
English Translation
120Neither the Jews nor the Christians will ever be pleased with you unless you follow their belief system. Say, "The path Allah shows—this is the true right path." If, after the knowledge that has come to you, you were to follow their whims and desires, you would have, apart from Allah, neither a protector nor a helper to guard you.
