بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 257
1 verseAl-Baqarah 257
اَللّٰهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُواۙ يُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ اِلَى النُّورِۜ وَالَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُٓوا اَوْلِيَٓاؤُ۬هُمُ الطَّاغُوتُۙ يُخْرِجُونَهُمْ مِنَ النُّورِ اِلَى الظُّلُمَاتِۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ اَصْحَابُ النَّارِۚ هُمْ ف۪يهَا خَالِدُونَ۟ ٢٥٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
257Allâhü veliyyü-lleẕîne âmenû yuḫricühüm mine-żżulümâti ile-nnûr. velleẕîne keferû evliyâühümu-ṭṭâgûtü yuḫricûnehüm mine-nnûri ile-żżulümât. ülâike aṣḥâbü-nnâr. hüm fîhâ ḫâlidûn.
English Translation
257Allah is the guardian and protector of those who believe. He brings them out of darkness into light. As for the disbelievers who cover up the truth, their guardians are taghut/the transgressors. They drag them from light into darkness. They are the people of the Fire. They will abide there.
