وَيْلٌ لِلْمُطَفِّف۪ينَۙ ١ اَلَّذ۪ينَ اِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَۘ ٢ وَاِذَا كَالُوهُمْ اَوْ وَزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَۜ ٣ اَلَا يَظُنُّ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ اَنَّهُمْ مَبْعُوثُونَۙ ٤ لِيَوْمٍ عَظ۪يمٍۙ ٥ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَم۪ينَۜ ٦ كَلَّٓا اِنَّ كِتَابَ الْفُجَّارِ لَف۪ي سِجّ۪ينٍۜ ٧ وَمَٓا اَدْرٰيكَ مَا سِجّ۪ينٌۜ ٨ كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌۜ ٩ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّب۪ينَۙ ١٠ اَلَّذ۪ينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدّ۪ينِۜ ١١ وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِه۪ٓ اِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ اَث۪يمٍۙ ١٢ اِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِ اٰيَاتُنَا قَالَ اَسَاط۪يرُ الْاَوَّل۪ينَۜ ١٣ كَلَّا بَلْ۔ رَانَ عَلٰى قُلُوبِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ ١٤ كَلَّٓا اِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَمَحْجُوبُونَۜ ١٥ ثُمَّ اِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا الْجَح۪يمِۜ ١٦ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هٰذَا الَّذ۪ي كُنْتُمْ بِه۪ تُكَذِّبُونَۜ ١٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
1Veylül lilmüṭaffifîn.
2Elleẕîne iẕe-ktâlû ʿale-nnâsi yestevfûn.
3Veiẕâ kâlûhüm ev vezenûhüm yuḫsirûn.
4Elâ yeżunnü ülâike ennehüm mebʿûŝûn.
5Liyevmin ʿażîm.
6Yevme yeḳûmü-nnâsü lirabbi-lʿâlemîn.
7Kellâ inne kitâbe-lfüccâri lefî siccîn.
8Vemâ edrâke mâ siccîn.
9Kitâbüm merḳûm.
10Veylüy yevmeiẕil lilmükeẕẕibîn.
11Elleẕîne yükeẕẕibûne biyevmi-ddîn.
12Vemâ yükeẕẕibü bihî illâ küllü müʿtedin eŝîm.
13İẕâ tütlâ ʿaleyhi âyâtünâ ḳâle esâṭîru-lʾevvelîn.
14Kellâ bel râne ʿalâ ḳulûbihim mâ kânû yeksibûn.
15Kellâ innehüm ʿar rabbihim yevmeiẕil lemaḥcûbûn.
16Ŝümme innehüm leṣâlü-lceḥîm.
17Ŝümme yüḳâlü hâẕe-lleẕî küntüm bihî tükeẕẕibûn.
English Translation
1Woe to those who cheat in measure and weight!
2When they take something from people, they measure and weigh it in full.
3But when they measure or weigh for others, they give short measure.
4Do these people not think that they will be raised to life again?
5On a mighty day.
6On that day all people will stand before the Lord of the worlds to give account.
7No, it is not so! Surely the records of deeds of the sinners are in Sijjin.
8Do you know what Sijjin is?
9It is a register in which everything is counted and itemized.
10Woe on that day to those who cling to lies in the face of this truth!
11They are the ones who deny the day of reckoning.
12For none denies the day of reckoning except a sinner who oversteps the limits.
13When Our verses are recited to him, he says: "These are legends of the ancients."
14The truth is that the evil they have done has rusted their hearts and darkened their consciences.
15No! On that day they will be wholly deprived of their Lord's mercy.
16Then they will end up in Hell.
17Then they will be told: "This is the Hell in which you would not believe, clinging to lies."

كَلَّٓا اِنَّ كِتَابَ الْاَبْرَارِ لَف۪ي عِلِّيّ۪ينَۜ ١٨ وَمَٓا اَدْرٰيكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَۜ ١٩ كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌۙ ٢٠ يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَۜ ٢١ اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ لَف۪ي نَع۪يمٍۙ ٢٢ عَلَى الْاَرَٓائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَۙ ٢٣ تَعْرِفُ ف۪ي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّع۪يمِۚ ٢٤ يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ رَح۪يقٍ مَخْتُومٍۙ ٢٥ خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌۜ وَف۪ي ذٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَۜ ٢٦ وَمِزَاجُهُ مِنْ تَسْن۪يمٍۙ ٢٧ عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَۜ ٢٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
18Kellâ inne kitâbe-lʾebrâri lefî ʿilliyyîn.
19Vemâ edrâke mâ ʿilliyyûn.
20Kitâbüm merḳûm.
21Yeşhedühü-lmüḳarrabûn.
22İnne-lʾebrâra lefî neʿîm.
23Ale-lʾerâiki yenżurûn.
24Taʿrifü fî vucûhihim naḍrate-nneʿîm.
25Yüsḳavne mir raḥîḳim maḫtûm.
26Ḫitâmühû misk. vefî ẕâlike felyetenâfesi-lmütenâfisûn.
27Vemizâcühû min tesnîm.
28Ayney yeşrabü bihe-lmüḳarrabûn.
English Translation
18No, not all are like this; the record of the deeds of the good is in Illiyyun.
19Do you know what Illiyyun is?
20It is a register in which everything is counted and itemized.
21Illiyyun is under the watch of the angels who are near to Allah.
22On that day the good will be amid blessings.
23Seated on thrones, they will gaze at the beauties around them.
24When you look at them, you will see in their faces the radiance of eternal happiness.
25They will be served pure drinks from sealed vessels,
26drinks that leave a scent of musk in the mouth after drinking. Let those who aspire, aspire to this!
27And mixed into that delicious drink is Tasnim.
28Tasnim is a spring from which those near to Allah drink.

اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ اَجْرَمُوا كَانُوا مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا يَضْحَكُونَۘ ٢٩ وَاِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَۘ ٣٠ وَاِذَا انْقَلَبُٓوا اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوا فَكِه۪ينَۘ ٣١ وَاِذَا رَاَوْهُمْ قَالُٓوا اِنَّ هٰٓؤُ۬لَٓاءِ لَضَٓالُّونَۙ ٣٢ وَمَٓا اُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظ۪ينَۜ ٣٣ فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَۙ ٣٤ عَلَى الْاَرَٓائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَۜ ٣٥ هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ ٣٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
29İnne-lleẕîne ecramû kânû mine-lleẕîne âmenû yaḍḥakûn.
30Veiẕâ merrû bihim yetegâmezûn.
31Veiẕe-nḳalebû ilâ ehlihimü-nḳalebû fekihîn.
32Veiẕâ raevhüm ḳâlû inne hâülâi leḍâllûn.
33Vemâ ürsilû ʿaleyhim ḥâfiżîn.
34Felyevme-lleẕîne âmenû mine-lküffâri yaḍḥakûn.
35Ale-lʾerâiki yenżurûn.
36Hel ŝüvvibe-lküffâru mâ kânû yefʿalûn.
English Translation
29Yes, those sunk in the swamp of sin used to laugh at those who believed.
30When they passed by them, they would wink at one another.
31And when they returned to their own crowd, they would relate with relish what they had done, and mock them.
32And whenever they saw the believers, they would say: —These people have gone astray and lost their way.
33Yet they had not been appointed to the office of judging the believers.
34So today those who believe laugh at the disbelievers.
35Seated on their thrones, they watch their wretched state.
36Well now! Have the disbelievers not been fully repaid for what they did?
