بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 33
1 verseLuqman 33
يَٓا اَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَا يَجْز۪ي وَالِدٌ عَنْ وَلَدِه۪ۘ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَنْ وَالِدِه۪ شَيْـًٔاۜ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَا۠ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُورُ ٣٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
33Yâ eyyühe-nnâsü-tteḳû rabbeküm vaḫşev yevmel lâ yeczî vâlidün ʿav veledihi. velâ mevlûdün hüve câzin ʿav vâlidihî şeyʾâ. inne vaʿde-llâhi ḥaḳḳun felâ tegurrannekümü-lḥayâtü-ddünyâ. velâ yegurranneküm billâhi-lgarûr.
English Translation
33So, O people, guard yourselves against defying your Lord, and fear the terror of that day when no child can benefit his father, nor any father his child! Know that Allah's promise will surely be fulfilled; so do not let this fleeting worldly life deceive you. And do not let the great deceiver deceive you about Allah!
