English Translation
14The two-faced hypocrites will call out to the believers: —Were we not with you? The believers will say: —Yes, outwardly you were, but you ruined yourselves through your two-facedness. You kept waiting for some calamity to befall us. You were always in deep doubt about Allah's verses. Vain hopes kept you occupied until Allah's command, death, came, and so those deceivers kept deceiving you about Allah.
