English Translation
Whoever lends Allah a goodly loan by spending in Allah's way, Allah will repay him many times over what he gave. And for such people there is a great reward.
On that day you will see the believing men and believing women hastening forward, lit by the light they have earned, before them and on their right. —Good news for you! Now enter the gardens beneath which rivers flow, where you will remain; this is the magnificent triumph! they will be told.
On that day the two-faced hypocrite men and hypocrite women, who pretend to believe when they do not, will say to those who believe: "Wait a little, so that we may benefit from your light." They will be told: "Go back behind you and seek your light there!" And at that moment a wall with a gate will be set up between them. On the side of this wall facing the believers there is mercy, and on its outer face, facing the hypocrites/the two-faced, there is punishment.
The two-faced hypocrites will call out to the believers: —Were we not with you? The believers will say: —Yes, outwardly you were, but you ruined yourselves through your two-facedness. You kept waiting for some calamity to befall us. You were always in deep doubt about Allah's verses. Vain hopes kept you occupied until Allah's command, death, came, and so those deceivers kept deceiving you about Allah.
So today no ransom for salvation will be accepted either from you or from those who openly declared their disbelief. From now on your place is the Fire, which is what you deserve. What an evil final destination Hell is!

Know that the life of this world is nothing but play, amusement, adornment and display, boasting to one another, and the desire and greed to have more wealth, property, and children. This worldly life is like rain whose plants delight the farmers. Then, before you know it, they have turned yellow and withered, and become dry grass and straw. In the Hereafter there is either severe punishment, or forgiveness and good pleasure from Allah. Yes, the life of this world is nothing but a deceptive and passing pleasure.
So, whatever you do, race to attain your Lord's forgiveness and to enter gardens as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who believe wholeheartedly in Allah and His messengers, who convey Allah's messages! That is Allah's grace, which He will give to those who deserve it. For Allah possesses great grace and generosity.

Within this framework We also sent Noah and Abraham as messengers, and gave prophethood and the Book to many of the descendants of both. Some of their peoples found the right path, but most strayed from the path and became transgressors.
Then We sent Our messengers one after another in their footsteps. After them We sent Jesus son of Mary and gave him the Gospel, and We placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him. But monasticism they invented themselves to win Allah's good pleasure, though We had not commanded it; and they did not fulfill even its requirements.

English Translation
O you who believe! Guard yourselves against defying Allah, and believe and trust in His Messenger, who conveys Allah's messages, so that He may give you a double reward from the treasury of His mercy. He will also grant you a light in whose brightness you will walk, and so forgive you. For Allah is matchless in forgiveness and possesses infinite mercy.
So let the followers of the earlier revelation understand that they cannot prevent any of Allah's grace, and that grace and generosity are entirely in Allah's hand, and that He will give them to those who deserve them. For Allah possesses great grace and generosity.
