بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 6–10
5 versesAl-Jathiyah 8
يَسْمَعُ اٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَاَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَاۚ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ اَل۪يمٍ ٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
8Yesmeʿu âyâti-llâhi tütlâ ʿaleyhi ŝümme yüṣirru müstekbiran keel lem yesmaʿhâ. febeşşirhü biʿaẕâbin elîm.
English Translation
8They hear Allah's verses recited to them, and then insolently persist in resisting those verses as if they had never heard them. So give such a person news of a painful punishment!
