وَلَقَدْ ذَرَاْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَث۪يرًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِۘ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَاۘ وَلَهُمْ اَعْيُنٌ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَاۘ وَلَهُمْ اٰذَانٌ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَاۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ كَالْاَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ اَضَلُّۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ ١٧٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
179Veleḳad ẕeraʾnâ licehenneme keŝîram mine-lcinni velʾins. lehüm ḳulûbül lâ yefḳahûne bihâ. velehüm aʿyünül lâ yübṣirûne bihâ. velehüm âẕânül lâ yesmeʿûne bihâ. ülâike kelʾenʿâmi bel hüm eḍall. ülâike hümü-lgâfilûn.
English Translation
179Indeed, many of the humans and jinn who have hearts but do not understand the truth, eyes but do not see the truth, and ears but do not hear the truth have deserved Hell. They are like animals—no, even lower than them, for they are unaware of the truths.
