بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 187

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَيَّانَ مُرْسٰيهَاۜ قُلْ اِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبّ۪يۚ لَا يُجَلّ۪يهَا لِوَقْتِهَٓا اِلَّا هُوَۜ ثَقُلَتْ فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ لَا تَاْت۪يكُمْ اِلَّا بَغْتَةًۜ يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ كَاَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنْهَاۜ قُلْ اِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ١٨٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
187Yesʾelûneke ʿani-ssâʿati eyyâne mürsâhâ. ḳul innemâ ʿilmühâ ʿinde rabbî. lâ yücellîhâ livaḳtihâ illâ hû. ŝeḳulet fi-ssemâvâti velʾarḍ. lâ teʾtîküm illâ bagteten. yesʾelûneke keenneke ḥafiyyün ʿanhâ. ḳul innemâ ʿilmühâ ʿinde-llâhi velâkinne ekŝera-nnâsi lâ yaʿlemûn.
English Translation
187They ask you when the Hour, the end of this world, will come. Say: —Knowledge of it is with my Lord alone. None but He can reveal its time. It is a very heavy event in the heavens and on the earth, and it will come upon you suddenly. They ask you as if it were possible for you to obtain knowledge of it. Say: —Knowledge of it belongs to Allah alone. But most people do not know this truth.
