Al-A'raf 37

English Translation

37Who is more unjust than one who fabricates a lie by attributing his own inventions to Allah, or who clings to lies in the face of Our verses? Their share of the Book/the law will reach them. Then, when Our messengers come to take their souls, they will ask: —Where are those you placed between yourselves and Allah and implored in prayer? They will say: —They have abandoned us and gone away; and so they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
