بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ تَوَفّٰيهُمُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِم۪ٓي اَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا ف۪يمَ كُنْتُمْۜ قَالُوا كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَف۪ينَ فِي الْاَرْضِۜ قَالُٓوا اَلَمْ تَكُنْ اَرْضُ اللّٰهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُوا ف۪يهَاۜ فَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ مَاْوٰيهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۜ وَسَٓاءَتْ مَص۪يرًاۙ ٩٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
97İnne-lleẕîne teveffâhümü-lmelâiketü żâlimî enfüsihim ḳâlû fîme küntüm. ḳâlû künnâ müstaḍʿafîne fi-lʾarḍ. ḳâlû elem tekün arḍu-llâhi vâsiʿaten fetühâcirû fîhâ. feülâike meʾvâhüm cehennem. vesâet meṣîrâ.
English Translation
97As for those who wronged and harmed themselves, when the angels take their souls they ask: "What did you do for the sake of your faith?" They say: "We were left powerless in the land." The angels say: "Was not Allah's earth wide? You should have emigrated in Allah's way!" Their place is Hell. What an evil place of return it is!
