بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 94
1 verseAn-Nisa 94
يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ فَتَبَيَّنُوا وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَنْ اَلْقٰٓى اِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَامَ لَسْتَ مُؤْمِنًاۚ تَبْتَغُونَ عَرَضَ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَاۘ فَعِنْدَ اللّٰهِ مَغَانِمُ كَث۪يرَةٌۜ كَذٰلِكَ كُنْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَمَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنُواۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَب۪يرًا ٩٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
94Yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû iẕâ ḍarabtüm fî sebîli-llâhi fetebeyyenû velâ teḳûlû limen elḳâ ileykümü-sselâme leste müʾminâ. tebtegûne ʿaraḍa-lḥayâti-ddünyâ. feʿinde-llâhi megânimü keŝîrah. keẕâlike küntüm min ḳablü femenne-llâhü ʿaleyküm fetebeyyenû. inne-llâhe kâne bimâ taʿmelûne ḫabîrâ.
English Translation
94O you who believe, when you set out on a campaign to fight in Allah's way, investigate carefully the situation of strangers you encounter. Do not say to anyone who greets you with peace/offers you peace, "You are not a believer!" out of desire for the spoils of the transient life of this world. For with Allah there are abundant spoils. You too were like that before, and Allah showed you kindness. So investigate carefully and understand. Surely Allah is aware of how you behave toward them.
