بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 36
1 verseAn-Nisa 36
وَاعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِه۪ شَيْـًٔا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ اِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتَامٰى وَالْمَسَاك۪ينِ وَالْجَارِ ذِي الْقُرْبٰى وَالْجَارِ الْجُنُبِ وَالصَّاحِبِ بِالْجَنْبِ وَابْنِ السَّب۪يلِۙ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَنْ كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًاۙ ٣٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
36Vaʿbüdü-llâhe velâ tüşrikû bihî şeyʾev vebilvâlideyni iḥsânev vebiẕi-lḳurbâ velyetâmâ velmesâkîni velcâri ẕi-lḳurbâ velcâri-lcünübi veṣṣâḥibi bilcembi vebni-ssebîli vemâ meleket eymânüküm. inne-llâhe lâ yüḥibbü men kâne muḫtâlen feḫûrâ.
English Translation
36Serve Allah alone and do not associate anything with Him as a partner. Do good to parents, relatives, orphans, the poor, the near neighbor, the distant neighbor, the companion at your side, the stranded traveler, and those under your authority. Surely Allah does not love anyone who is arrogant and boastful.
