بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 128
1 verseAn-Nisa 128
وَاِنِ امْرَاَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنْ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا اَوْ اِعْرَاضًا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَٓا اَنْ يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًاۜ وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌۜ وَاُحْضِرَتِ الْاَنْفُسُ الشُّحَّۜ وَاِنْ تُحْسِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَب۪يرًا ١٢٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
128Veini-mraetün ḫâfet mim baʿlihâ nüşûzen ev iʿrâḍan felâ cünâḥa ʿaleyhimâ ey yuṣliḥâ beynehümâ ṣulḥâ. veṣṣulḥu ḫayr. veuḥḍirati-lʾenfüsü-şşüḥḥ. vein tuḥsinû vetetteḳû feinne-llâhe kâne bimâ taʿmelûne ḫabîrâ.
English Translation
128If a woman fears that her home will break apart because of her husband's discord or his drifting away from her, there is no blame on them in resolving the problem between them through an agreement and setting things right between them. Such an agreement is better. For jealousy is ever present in human nature. If you do good and act responsibly, surely Allah is aware of all that you do.
