بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 140
1 verseAn-Nisa 140
وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ اَنْ اِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ اٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَاُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا مَعَهُمْ حَتّٰى يَخُوضُوا ف۪ي حَد۪يثٍ غَيْرِه۪ۘ اِنَّكُمْ اِذًا مِثْلُهُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِق۪ينَ وَالْكَافِر۪ينَ ف۪ي جَهَنَّمَ جَم۪يعًاۙ ١٤٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
140Veḳad nezzele ʿaleyküm fi-lkitâbi en iẕâ semiʿtüm âyâti-llâhi yükferu bihâ veyüstehzeü bihâ felâ taḳʿudû meʿahüm ḥattâ yeḫûḍû fî ḥadîŝin gayrihi. inneküm iẕem miŝlühüm. inne-llâhe câmiʿu-lmünâfiḳîne velkâfirîne fî cehenneme cemîʿâ.
English Translation
140Yet Allah has written and made known to you this ruling in this Book: "When you hear Allah's verses being disbelieved and taken lightly, do not sit with them. Do this until they believe in Allah's hadith, the Quran, and turn back; otherwise you will become like them!" Surely Allah will gather all the two-faced hypocrites, who appear to believe though they do not believe, and the disbelievers together in Hell.
