بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 129
1 verseAn-Nisa 129
وَلَنْ تَسْتَط۪يعُٓوا اَنْ تَعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ النِّسَٓاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ فَلَا تَم۪يلُوا كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِۜ وَاِنْ تُصْلِحُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَح۪يمًا ١٢٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
129Velen testeṭîʿû en taʿdilû beyne-nnisâi velev ḥaraṣtüm felâ temîlû külle-lmeyli feteẕerûhâ kelmüʿalleḳah. vein tuṣliḥû vetetteḳû feinne-llâhe kâne gafûrar raḥîmâ.
English Translation
129However hard you try, you will never be able to treat your wives equally in love and attention. So do not incline wholly toward one and leave the others as if suspended in a void. If you correct yourselves and guard against doing injustice, Allah is truly much forgiving and merciful.
