English Translation
23Forbidden to you are: your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your paternal aunts, your maternal aunts, your brothers' daughters, your sisters' daughters, your foster mothers who nursed you, your sisters through this nursing, your wives' mothers, your stepdaughters born of the wives with whom you have consummated marriage and who live under the same roof—if you have not consummated marriage with their mothers, there is no blame—the wives of your own sons, and having two sisters married to you at the same time. But what happened in the past is in the past. Allah is much forgiving, abundant in mercy.
