English Translation
5Today all that is clean and wholesome has been made lawful for you. The food of those who were given the Book is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And it is lawful for you to marry free and chaste women from among the believers, and free and chaste women from among those who were given the Book before you, provided that you give them their dowries (mahr), not turning to indecency and unlawful sexual intercourse (zina), nor taking secret lovers. Whoever does not fulfill what his faith requires, his deeds will come to nothing, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.
