English Translation
41O Messenger, do not let yourself be grieved by those who vie with one another in disbelief: those who say with their mouths, "We believe," though their hearts do not believe, and the Jews who come to listen to you in order to spy for another people who do not come to you, and to fabricate lies in your name. They twist words by tearing them from their original context and distort their meaning, and they say: "If you are given this ruling (fatwa), take it; but if you are not given it, keep away from it." If Allah tests one who does not wish to purify his heart, there is nothing you can do. What they deserve is disgrace and humiliation in this world, and in the Hereafter a terrible punishment.
