بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 116–118

وَاِذْ قَالَ اللّٰهُ يَا ع۪يسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ ءَاَنْتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُون۪ي وَاُمِّيَ اِلٰهَيْنِ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۜ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ ل۪ٓي اَنْ اَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ ل۪ي بِحَقٍّۜ اِنْ كُنْتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُۜ تَعْلَمُ مَا ف۪ي نَفْس۪ي وَلَٓا اَعْلَمُ مَا ف۪ي نَفْسِكَۜ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ ١١٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
116Veiẕ ḳâle-llâhü yâ ʿîse-bne meryeme eente ḳulte linnâsi-tteḫiẕûnî veümmiye ilâheyni min dûni-llâh. ḳâle sübḥâneke mâ yekûnü lî en eḳûle mâ leyse lî biḥaḳḳ. in küntü ḳultühû feḳad ʿalimteh. taʿlemü mâ fî nefsî velâ aʿlemü mâ fî nefsik. inneke ente ʿallâmü-lguyûb.
English Translation
116And when Allah says: "O Jesus son of Mary, was it you who told people, 'Take me and my mother as gods, placing us between yourselves and Allah'?", Jesus will reply: "Far be it from me, my Lord! Glory be to You. It does not befit me to say what I have no right to say. Had I said it, You would surely have known it. For You know me inside out, but I cannot know the mystery of Your being. Surely it is You, and You alone, who knows all that is hidden."
