بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 12–13
2 versesAl-Ma'idah 13
فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِمْ م۪يثَاقَهُمْ لَعَنَّاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَاسِيَةًۚ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِه۪ۙ وَنَسُوا حَظًّا مِمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِه۪ۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلٰى خَٓائِنَةٍ مِنْهُمْ اِلَّا قَل۪يلًا مِنْهُمْ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِن۪ينَ ١٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
13Febimâ naḳḍihim mîŝâḳahüm leʿannâhüm veceʿalnâ ḳulûbehüm ḳâsiyeh. yüḥarrifûne-lkelime ʿam mevâḍiʿihî venesû ḥażżam mimmâ ẕükkirû bih. velâ tezâlü teṭṭaliʿu ʿalâ ḫâinetim minhüm illâ ḳalîlem minhüm faʿfü ʿanhüm vaṣfaḥ. inne-llâhe yüḥibbü-lmuḥsinîn.
English Translation
13And because they broke their covenant, hardened their hearts, twisted the meanings of words, and moreover forgot and failed to act upon part of the truths they had been reminded of, We cursed them. Except for a very few of them, you will always see treachery from them. Yet even so, be tolerant toward them and take no notice of them. Surely Allah loves those who are tolerant.
