بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 52–53
2 versesAl-Ma'idah 52
فَتَرَى الَّذ۪ينَ ف۪ي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ يُسَارِعُونَ ف۪يهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشٰٓى اَنْ تُص۪يبَنَا دَٓائِرَةٌۜ فَعَسَى اللّٰهُ اَنْ يَاْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ اَوْ اَمْرٍ مِنْ عِنْدِه۪ فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلٰى مَٓا اَسَرُّوا ف۪ٓي اَنْفُسِهِمْ نَادِم۪ينَۜ ٥٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
52Fetere-lleẕîne fî ḳulûbihim meraḍuy yüsâriʿûne fîhim yeḳûlûne naḫşâ en tüṣîbenâ dâirah. feʿase-llâhü ey yeʾtiye bilfetḥi ev emrim min ʿindihî feyuṣbiḥû ʿalâ mâ eserrû fî enfüsihim nâdimîn.
English Translation
52You see those in whose hearts there is sickness rushing about in their interests, saying: "We fear that things may go wrong and some disaster befall us." But if Allah should grant a victory, or an instruction come from Him, they will begin to suffer pangs of conscience over what they hid within themselves.
