بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 28–29

لَا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِر۪ينَ اَوْلِيَٓاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ ف۪ي شَيْءٍ اِلَّٓا اَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقٰيةًۜ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسَهُۜ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ الْمَص۪يرُ ٢٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
28Lâ yetteḫiẕi-lmüʾminûne-lkâfirîne evliyâe min dûni-lmüʾminîn. vemey yefʿal ẕâlike feleyse mine-llâhi fî şeyʾin illâ en tetteḳû minhüm tüḳâh. veyüḥaẕẕirukümü-llâhü nefseh. veile-llâhi-lmeṣîr.
English Translation
28Let the believers not take disbelievers as protectors and allies instead of believers. Whoever does so has no connection left with Allah—unless it is a tactic you devise to protect yourselves from them. Allah warns you to be careful toward Him. To Allah is the final destination.
