بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 35–41

فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ اِنّ۪ي وَضَعْتُهَٓا اُنْثٰىۜ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْۜ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْاُنْثٰىۚ وَاِنّ۪ي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَاِنّ۪ٓي اُع۪يذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّج۪يمِ ٣٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
36Felemmâ veḍaʿathâ ḳâlet rabbi innî veḍaʿtühâ ünŝâ. vellâhü aʿlemü bimâ veḍaʿat. veleyse-ẕẕekeru kelʾünŝâ. veinnî semmeytühâ meryeme veinnî üʿîẕühâ bike veẕürriyyetehâ mine-şşeyṭâni-rracîm.
English Translation
36When she gave birth to her, she said, "My Lord, I have given birth to a girl." Allah certainly knows best what she gave birth to, and that a boy is not like a girl. "I have named her Mary. I commit her and her descendants to Your protection from the outcast Satan," she said.
