بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَٓائِمٌ يُصَلّ۪ي فِي الْمِحْرَابِۙ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيٰى مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِح۪ينَ ٣٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
39Fenâdethü-lmelâiketü vehüve ḳâimüy yüṣallî fi-lmiḥrâbi enne-llâhe yübeşşiruke biyaḥyâ müṣaddiḳam bikelimetim mine-llâhi veseyyidev veḥaṣûrav venebiyyem mine-ṣṣâliḥîn.
English Translation
39While he was performing the prayer in the sanctuary (mihrab), the angels called out to him: "Allah gives you good news of John (Yahya), who will confirm a word from Allah—a leader, master of his self, and a prophet from among the righteous!"
