وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَلْقَوْهُۖ فَقَدْ رَاَيْتُمُوهُ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ۟ ١٤٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
143Veleḳad küntüm temennevne-lmevte min ḳabli en telḳavh. feḳad raeytümûhü veentüm tenżurûn.
English Translation
143You used to long for death before you came face to face with it. Now that you have seen it, you just stand there looking on.
