بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 78
1 verseAli 'Imran 78
وَاِنَّ مِنْهُمْ لَفَر۪يقًا يَلْوُ۫نَ اَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالْكِتَابِ لِتَحْسَبُوهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِۚ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِۚ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ ٧٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
78Veinne minhüm leferîḳay yelvûne elsinetehüm bilkitâbi litaḥsebûhü mine-lkitâbi vemâ hüve mine-lkitâb. veyeḳûlûne hüve min ʿindi-llâhi vemâ hüve min ʿindi-llâh. veyeḳûlûne ʿale-llâhi-lkeẕibe vehüm yaʿlemûn.
English Translation
78Among them is a group who twist their tongues so that you will think it is from the Book, though it is not from the Book. They pretend to be reading from Allah's Book, and they say, "It is from Allah," though it is not from Allah. They knowingly tell lies about Allah.
