بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 42–43

وَاِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰيكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفٰيكِ عَلٰى نِسَٓاءِ الْعَالَم۪ينَ ٤٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
42Veiẕ ḳâleti-lmelâiketü yâ meryemü inne-llâhe-ṣṭafâki veṭahheraki vaṣṭafâki ʿalâ nisâi-lʿâlemîn.
English Translation
42And recall when the angels said: "O Mary, Allah has chosen you. He has purified you, and He has chosen you and made you superior to the women of all peoples."
