بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 110–115
6 versesAli 'Imran 112
ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ اَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُٓوا اِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَبَٓاؤُ۫ بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُۜ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الْاَنْبِيَٓاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۜ ذٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ۠ ١١٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
112Ḍuribet ʿaleyhimü-ẕẕilletü eyne mâ ŝüḳifû illâ biḥablim mine-llâhi veḥablim mine-nnâsi vebâû bigaḍabim mine-llâhi veḍuribet ʿaleyhimü-lmeskeneh. ẕâlike biennehüm kânû yekfürûne biâyâti-llâhi veyaḳtülûne-lʾembiyâe bigayri ḥaḳḳ. ẕâlike bimâ ʿaṣav vekânû yaʿtedûn.
English Translation
112Wherever they may be, they are condemned to be degraded and to live in humiliation, as long as they do not hold to their commitments toward Allah and toward people. For in the past they incurred Allah's wrath. They were condemned to bondage, exile, and wretchedness. This was because they did not believe in Allah's verses and unjustly killed their prophets. All this was because they rebelled and transgressed the limits.
