قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰى يَكُونُ ل۪ي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَاَت۪ي عَاقِرٌۜ قَالَ كَذٰلِكَ اللّٰهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَٓاءُ ٤٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
40Ḳâle rabbi ennâ yekûnü lî gulâmüv veḳad beleganiye-lkiberu vemraetî ʿâḳir. ḳâle keẕâlike-llâhü yefʿalü mâ yeşâ.
English Translation
40He said, "My Lord, how will I have a son when old age has seized me and my wife is barren?" Allah said, "Thus is Allah; He does what He wills!"
