بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 144
1 verseAli 'Imran 144
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُولٌۚ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُۜ اَفَا۬ئِنْ مَاتَ اَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْۜ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلٰى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللّٰهَ شَيْـًٔاۜ وَسَيَجْزِي اللّٰهُ الشَّاكِر۪ينَ ١٤٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
144Vemâ müḥammedün illâ rasûl. ḳad ḫalet min ḳablihi-rrusül. efeim mâte ev ḳutile-nḳalebtüm ʿalâ aʿḳâbiküm. vemey yenḳalib ʿalâ ʿaḳibeyhi feley yeḍurra-llâhe şeyʾâ. veseyeczi-llâhü-şşâkirîn.
English Translation
144Muhammad is only a messenger. Messengers have come and gone before him. If he dies or is killed, will you turn back on your heels? Whoever turns back on his heels cannot harm Allah in any way. Allah will surely reward, when the time comes, those who give His blessings their due.
