وَمَٓا اَرْسَلْنَا ف۪ي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ اِلَّٓا اَخَذْنَٓا اَهْلَهَا بِالْبَاْسَٓاءِ وَالضَّرَّٓاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ ٩٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
94Vemâ erselnâ fî ḳaryetim min nebiyyin illâ eḫaẕnâ ehlehâ bilbeʾsâi veḍḍarrâi leʿallehüm yeḍḍarraʿûn.
English Translation
94To whatever land We sent a prophet, We always tested its people with famine and deprivation, so that they might implore Allah from the heart.
