بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 96
1 verseAl-A'raf 96
وَلَوْ اَنَّ اَهْلَ الْقُرٰٓى اٰمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَكَاتٍ مِنَ السَّمَٓاءِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَلٰكِنْ كَذَّبُوا فَاَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ ٩٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
96Velev enne ehle-lḳurâ âmenû vetteḳav lefetaḥnâ ʿaleyhim berakâtim mine-ssemâi velʾarḍi velâkin keẕẕebû feeḫaẕnâhüm bimâ kânû yeksibûn.
English Translation
96Yet had the peoples of these lands believed and acted responsibly, We would have flung wide open to them the gates of blessing of the heavens and the earth. But they clung to lies, so We punished them for the sins they had earned.
