بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 28
1 verseAl-A'raf 28
وَاِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً قَالُوا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَٓا اٰبَٓاءَنَا وَاللّٰهُ اَمَرَنَا بِهَاۜ قُلْ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَاْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَٓاءِۜ اَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ٢٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
28Veiẕâ feʿalû fâḥişeten ḳâlû vecednâ ʿaleyhâ âbâenâ vellâhü emeranâ bihâ. ḳul inne-llâhe lâ yeʾmüru bilfaḥşâʾ. eteḳûlûne ʿale-llâhi mâ lâ taʿlemûn.
English Translation
28When they commit an ugly deed, they say: —We found our forefathers doing this, and Allah commanded it to us. Say: —Allah does not command ugly deeds. Or do you speak in Allah's name without knowing?
