بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّيِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتّٰى عَفَوْا وَقَالُوا قَدْ مَسَّ اٰبَٓاءَنَا الضَّرَّٓاءُ وَالسَّرَّٓاءُ فَاَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ٩٥
Mushaf
Transliteration
95Ŝümme beddelnâ mekâne-sseyyieti-lḥasenete ḥattâ ʿafev veḳâlû ḳad messe âbâene-ḍḍarrâü vesserrâü feeḫaẕnâhüm bagtetev vehüm lâ yeşʿurûn.
English Translation
95Then We turned that deprivation and famine into abundance and prosperity. But instead of being grateful for these blessings, they grew insolent, saying, "Our forefathers too saw days of deprivation and plenty, as we have." So We seized and punished them at a moment they did not expect at all.
