بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 131
1 verseAl-A'raf 131
فَاِذَا جَٓاءَتْهُمُ الْحَسَنَةُ قَالُوا لَنَا هٰذِه۪ۚ وَاِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَطَّيَّرُوا بِمُوسٰى وَمَنْ مَعَهُۜ اَلَٓا اِنَّمَا طَٓائِرُهُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ١٣١
Mushaf
Transliteration
131Feiẕâ câethümü-lḥasenetü ḳâlû lenâ hâẕih. vein tüṣibhüm seyyietüy yeṭṭayyerû bimûsâ vemem meʿah. elâ innemâ ṭâiruhüm ʿinde-llâhi velâkinne ekŝerahüm lâ yaʿlemûn.
English Translation
131But whenever they attained abundance and prosperity, they would say, "This was only our natural right," and whenever they fell into hardship and distress, they would blame it on the ill omen of Moses and those with him. Yet what they counted as an ill omen is a law from Allah. But most of them do not know this truth.
