بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 142

وَوٰعَدْنَا مُوسٰى ثَلٰث۪ينَ لَيْلَةً وَاَتْمَمْنَاهَا بِعَشْرٍ فَتَمَّ م۪يقَاتُ رَبِّه۪ٓ اَرْبَع۪ينَ لَيْلَةًۚ وَقَالَ مُوسٰى لِاَخ۪يهِ هٰرُونَ اخْلُفْن۪ي ف۪ي قَوْم۪ي وَاَصْلِحْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ سَب۪يلَ الْمُفْسِد۪ينَ ١٤٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
142Vevâʿadnâ mûsâ ŝelâŝîne leyletev veetmemnâhâ biʿaşrin fetemme mîḳâtü rabbihî erbeʿîne leyleh. veḳâle mûsâ lieḫîhi hârûne-ḫlüfnî fî ḳavmî veaṣliḥ velâ tettebiʿ sebîle-lmüfsidîn.
English Translation
142We made an appointment with Moses for thirty nights and added ten more to it, so that the term set by his Lord was completed as forty nights. Moses said to his brother Aaron: —Take over my duty among my people and keep order, and never follow the way of those who stir up discord and corruption!
