English Translation
155And Moses chose seventy men from his people and brought them to the place and time We had appointed. When a violent tremor seized them, he said: —My Lord, had You willed, You would have destroyed me and them before this. Will You destroy us for what the fools among us have done? This is nothing but Your test. By it You leave in misguidance whoever wishes it and show Your right path to whoever wishes it. You are our guardian/protector. So forgive us and have mercy on us! For You are the best of those who forgive!
