بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

اَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْاَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّنْ لَكُمْ وَاَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَٓاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِدْرَارًاۖ وَجَعَلْنَا الْاَنْهَارَ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ فَاَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَاَنْشَاْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا اٰخَر۪ينَ ٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
6Elem yerav kem ehleknâ min ḳablihim min ḳarnim mekkennâhüm fi-lʾarḍi mâ lem nümekkil leküm veerselne-ssemâe ʿaleyhim midrârâ. veceʿalne-lʾenhâra tecrî min taḥtihim feehleknâhüm biẕünûbihim veenşeʾnâ mim baʿdihim ḳarnen âḫarîn.
English Translation
6Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them? We had settled them in fertile lands such as We have not given you, sent down abundant, blessed rain upon them from the sky, and made rivers flow beneath their feet. Yet We destroyed them for their sins and brought other generations into being after them.
