وَلَقَدْ اَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُونَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواۙ وَجَٓاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُواۜ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِم۪ينَ ١٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
13Veleḳad ehlekne-lḳurûne min ḳabliküm lemmâ żalemû vecâethüm rusülühüm bilbeyyinâti vemâ kânû liyüʾminû. keẕâlike neczi-lḳavme-lmücrimîn.
English Translation
13Indeed, We destroyed many lands before you because of their wrongdoing and injustice. Their messengers had come to them with clear evidence of the truth, but they would not believe. This is how We punish a people steeped in guilt.
