ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ رُسُلًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَٓاؤُ۫هُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا بِمَا كَذَّبُوا بِه۪ مِنْ قَبْلُۜ كَذٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلٰى قُلُوبِ الْمُعْتَد۪ينَ ٧٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
74Ŝümme beʿaŝnâ mim baʿdihî rusülen ilâ ḳavmihim fecâûhüm bilbeyyinâti femâ kânû liyüʾminû bimâ keẕẕebû bihî min ḳabl. keẕâlike naṭbeʿu ʿalâ ḳulûbi-lmüʿtedîn.
English Translation
74After him We sent messengers to their peoples from among themselves. The messengers came to them with clear evidence of the truth, but they persisted in not believing in the truths they had denied before. This is how, by overstepping the limits, they closed their hearts to the warnings.
