Yunus 24

English Translation

English Translation

24The life of this world is just like this: it is like the rain We send down from the sky. With it grows vegetation that people and animals eat, and the earth is adorned and decked out in all its beauty. And just when the owners of the gardens think they have full possession of the crops and are building their dreams, a disaster We send comes by night or by day, and We turn everything into worthless debris, as though nothing had been there the day before. Thus We explain the verses for a people who reflect deeply.
