وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَن۪ٓي إِسْرَٓاء۪يلَ الْبَحْرَ فَاَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًاۜ حَتّٰٓى اِذَٓا اَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُۙ قَالَ اٰمَنْتُ اَنَّهُ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا الَّذ۪ٓي اٰمَنَتْ بِه۪ بَنُٓوا اِسْرَٓاء۪يلَ وَاَنَا۬ مِنَ الْمُسْلِم۪ينَ ٩٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
90Vecâveznâ bibenî isrâîle-lbaḥra feetbeʿahüm firʿavnü vecünûdühû bagyev veʿadvâ. ḥattâ iẕâ edrakehü-lgaraḳu ḳâle âmentü ennehû lâ ilâhe ille-lleẕî âmenet bihî benû isrâîle veenâ mine-lmüslimîn.
English Translation
90Then We brought the Children of Israel across to the far side of the sea. Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them insolently and with hostility. At last, when Pharaoh realized he was about to drown, he pleaded: —I too have come to believe that there is no god but the One in whom the Children of Israel believe. Now I am one of the Muslims.
