بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 16–18
3 versesYunus 18
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ هٰٓؤُ۬لَٓاءِ شُفَعَٓاؤُ۬نَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِۜ قُلْ اَتُنَبِّؤُ۫نَ اللّٰهَ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْاَرْضِۜ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالٰى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ١٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
18Veyaʿbüdûne min dûni-llâhi mâ lâ yeḍurruhüm velâ yenfeʿuhüm veyeḳûlûne hâülâi şüfeʿâünâ ʿinde-llâh. ḳul etünebbiûne-llâhe bimâ lâ yaʿlemü fi-ssemâvâti velâ fi-lʾarḍ. sübḥânehû veteʿâlâ ʿammâ yüşrikûn.
English Translation
18They serve those they place between themselves and Allah, who can neither benefit nor harm them, saying: "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say: —Are you informing Allah of something in the heavens or on the earth that He does not know? Allah is free of and far above the partners they associate with Him.
