قَالُٓوا اَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ اٰبَٓاءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِيَٓاءُ فِي الْاَرْضِۜ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِن۪ينَ ٧٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
78Ḳâlû eciʾtenâ litelfitenâ ʿammâ vecednâ ʿaleyhi âbâenâ vetekûne leküme-lkibriyâü fi-lʾarḍ. vemâ naḥnü lekümâ bimüʾminîn.
English Translation
78They said: —Have you come to turn us away from the religion we saw and learned from our forefathers, and to seize power in this land together with your brother and gain the upper hand over us? We will never believe in either of you.
