بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 22–23
2 versesYunus 23
فَلَمَّٓا اَنْجٰيهُمْ اِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ فِي الْاَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّۜ يَٓا اَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِكُمْۙ مَتَاعَ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ اِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٢٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
23Felemmâ encâhüm iẕâ hüm yebgûne fi-lʾarḍi bigayri-lḥaḳḳ. yâ eyyühe-nnâsü innemâ bagyüküm ʿalâ enfüsiküm metâʿa-lḥayâti-ddünyâ ŝümme ileynâ merciʿuküm fenünebbiüküm bimâ küntüm taʿmelûn.
English Translation
23But when Allah saves them, they at once begin to act insolently and run riot on the earth, with no regard for anyone's rights. O people, the insolence and excess you commit for the pleasure and gain of the fleeting life of this world will rebound on yourselves. In the end your return will be to Us, and We will inform you of what you did, one by one.
