Yunus 22

English Translation

22It is He who enables you to travel on land and sail at sea. Imagine you are on a ship, and the ship is gliding pleasantly along on a fair breeze, and the passengers are delighted and cheerful. Then a violent storm arises, mountainous waves surround the ship on every side, and the moment the passengers realize they are hemmed in on all sides and about to drown, they implore Allah with heartfelt pleading, devoting their faith wholly to Him: —If You save us from this, we swear we will be among the grateful!
